Police in China have arrested a suspected arsonist over a bus fire that left 17 people dead, according to state media.
A further 32 people were injured in the blaze on Tuesday morning in the city of Yinchuan, in the northern Ningxia region.
Eight are in a critical condition.
The suspect was cornered at a construction site, state broadcaster CCTV said on social media.
Police had earlier said they were hunting a 33-year-old man, according to the People’s daily. No possible motives were reported.
China has seen several fires on public transport in similar circumstances in recent years.
In 2013, a fire on a bus started by a suicidal man killed 47 people in Xianmen in China’s southeast.
A man was executed last year for a bus fire that saw 33 injured in Hangzhou.
